As a professional Real Estate Sales Representatives you  look at a house from a logical point of view.  You are concerned with the square footage, mortgage rates, taxes, inspections, and all the other important items that you include on your spec sheets.  As a Home Stager, my job is to get potential buyers emotionally involved in the house as soon as they drive up to the curb and then again as they walk in the front door.  You only get one chance to make a great first impression!  I make sure the rooms are being properly utilized and that there is a good traffic flow with the furniture.  I choose appealing paint colours for a larger target market.  I want buyers to visualize themselves actually living in the home already.  When I work together with realtors both the logical and the emotional perspectives are taken care of and it ensures for a quicker sale for more money.  Two different perspectives - one goal.

No homeowner likes to be told what to do especially when there is some work involved.  You have just worked hard to get the listing and you don't want to jeopardize your relationship with the homeowner.  They need to realize that they have to live differently in a home when they are selling. All their treasures that they are so attached to may not be suitable for the rest of the public.  I provide the homeowners a very realistic 'to-do' list and I actually help them implement as many of the tasks as possible.  Follow-up  is essential for a well staged home. 

I transform  tired, run-down houses into beautiful showrooms. Sometimes it only requires a fresh coat of the correct paint colour, rearranging the existing furniture or de-cluttering an overflowing room.
